Welcome

Must Love Dogs

As of April 2024 I am fully booked for all walks. I will update this website when new slots become available.

Hello I'm Paula, welcome to Newton Abbot Pet Care.

In the last few years many people have purchased or adopted their new best friend. Now that employers are requesting working again from the office, some of you will be requiring a little bit of help to take the best care of your treasured pet. Maybe you suffer with a disability that does not allow your dog to benefit from a lovely long walk.

Offering group or individual walks, we can help you to get on with life without worry. Group walks offer the chance for your dog to socialise, exercise, and get fresh air. Whatever your dog's age we will be happy to help with those wet and muddy walks, bringing your pooch home towel dried. We do ask for floor coverings/towels to be provided during the wet weather to prevent marking floors and carpets with mud.

Pick ups and drop offs are included in an air conditioned vehicle, decked out for safe and clean transportation. Daily photos can be sent, with your permission, enabling you to see your best pal out and about enjoying their walks.

We also provide a pet 'let out' or 'food down' service for all sorts of pets. I will consider any pets as long as they don't bite :-)

Please enquire for prices and details. For a rough guide, solo walks are approx £20 and group walks are £13 depending on the dog, distance, how many walks required etc.

Please note we do not do house sitting or day care.

I am really looking forward to meeting you :-)

****Please note I will be taking time off in 2024 - 20th May, 30th May to 2nd June, 28th June to 8th July, 9th September to 16th and December 20th to January 2nd****

NAPC is a fully insured business and holds an Animal Welfare Licence issued by Teignbridge Council.

Having a dog will bless you with many of the happiest days of your life.

Customer Reviews

Could not recommend Paula enough. Very reliable, professional service that look after your dog like they are her own. Would recommend to anyone.

Sharon Kerridge-Smith

Excellent service, NAPC recognises the bond between owner and dog and they send regular photos and videos of our dog Charlie, showing how happy he is. He is always eager to go on walks and Charlie has also stayed overnight for a long weekend. If they have any concerns about Charlie they contact us immediately. If Charlie gets wet or muddy they ensure that he is properly rubbed down. They are very reliable and always give us plenty of notice if they are unavailable and offer alternative dates. They are extremely trustworthy, we are at work, so they let themselves into the property using a key safe. Highly recommended.

Great with the dogs, always on time and very easy to arrange. It gave me great confidence knowing they are retired police officers to let them into my house.

So professional but mainly such wonderful kind people who take such good care of the animals. Such a pleasure to deal with too. Highly recommend.

Two days before we were due to go on holiday, I was let down by another pet sitter and reached out to Paula to see if she had availability to check in on our cat. She was incredibly helpful and easy to talk to from her first message. As he’s a hairless cat, I’ve always found it very daunting leaving him in the care of others but Paula made me feel at ease from our first few messages. Paula came and visited us before we left and asked all the right questions which made us feel confident that we had made the right choice. Throughout our holiday, we received regular updates of our little man. I can’t recommend Paula highly enough and we will certainly be using her again for any pet care whilst we are away.

Paula is absolutely amazing with our dog. Our spaniel is always so happy to see her and all his new friends. Paula goes above and beyond to fit you in when needed. Best of all our boy comes home tired and content and we get videos of all of his adventures each time he goes out.
